My story
My passion for wellness began in college, studying exercise science. As a competitive gymnast from age eight throughout college, much of my time was spent rehabbing injuries. This started me on my life path of understanding human physiology and finding different modalities to heal and keep the human body healthy and strong. This passion has been with me as a college athletic trainer, corporate wellness director, group fitness instructor, and personal trainer. I’m always searching for new ways to help students become their personal best in body, mind, and spirit. My quest has taken me down many therapeutic and healing paths, one of them being Iyengar yoga. The principles of Iyengar yoga are close to my heart, focusing on correct body alignment and harmonious development in an anatomically correct way, so that there is no suffering from injury or pain.
